Get ready for the next big wave in video gaming. Sony's PS3 promises to break new ground in processing power and visual effects.
PS3 Basics
While many of the details are still under wraps, the word on the street is that the PS3 will far surpass Playstation2 in performance and graphics display. Abandoning the interlaced picture for a 1080 progressive scan, Sony is betting on the evolution of the high definition future. It will also offer seven-player wireless support, a newly-designed controller and will be also work with PS1 and PS2 games. Sony has not released official price information yet.
