The materials for both Isotropic Magnets and Anisotropic Magnets are Ferrite magnets.
But the spread of the magnetic field is very different between Isotropic Magnets and Anisotropic Magnets. There is no magnetic field during pressing for Isotropic Magnets, so there will be more ways to magnetize after sintering than Anisotropic magnets are. Because Anisotropic magnets need pressing with magnetic field, the magnetic direction is fixed during pressing. There is one direction and one way to magnetize after sintering. So Anisotropic Magnets are stronger and more powerful. |
