The dynamic compensating principle The RED DEER tensioner works on the principle of the active dynamic tension compensation of the central pivoting wing, This wing will add more tension in case the yarn tension is below the pre-set value, It will decrease the tension in case the yarn tension is above this value. The movement of the wing is damped by viscous oil to absorb tension peaks and to prevent any excessive vibration. After the run-in eyelet pretensioning is provided by a pair of fixed brake discs.An integrated integrated yarn stop motion ensures a quick reaction to yarn breaks in the proximity of the yarn package. As ans option, a second stop motion will detect tight ends. This eliminates yarn breaks that occur near the bobbins. Optimum tension control The yarn tension remains constant on a given setting, both with cops and conical wound or crosswound packages, The pre-set tension remains constant when draw-off speeds are changed, even in the starting and stopping phase, The tensioners are working optimal in a large warping speed frame of more then 1000 meters per minute, The regulator permits the constant retention of the per-set tension from the full to the empty bobbin. Hence, it is the only true alternative to centrally controlled systems where fully identical packages are requested. Tension peaks are absorbed by the hydraulic damping action of the compensating wing, leading to a smooth running of the yarn sheet.
