Built of high tensile cast iron (FC 25).
Slideways and underside of vice are precision ground.
The Stepped Jaw Plates are hardened to HRC 52 and precision ground.
The precision LEADSCREW is supported by a BRONZE BUSH to ensure smooth movement and to provide greater clamping force by reducing friction between moving parts.
