Dong Xin Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd. originated from Xin-You Water & Electricity Engineering Company, which was founded in January 1983, specializing in constructing high and low voltage engineering projects . In September 1985, in response to the increasing business demand, Xin-You was reorganized into ChaoYang Engineering Pty Ltd, continually engaged in constructing water and electricity distribution projects. In 1998, Chao Yang established a subsidiary in Xiamen , Fujian province of China committed in designing and manufacturing stainless deep well pumps and submersible motors. In 2003, the company moved to Taiwan and renamed it Dong Xin Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd.
