Chung Tai Rubber Company established in 1950, produced rubber roots, slippers and rice hulling rolls. Then developed the tank track pad and road wheels for the army in Taiwan and US Army in Vietnam. In 1973, signed the technical assistance agreement with the Japanese company to produce the flexible pipe joint, dock fender for the country¡¦s public construction. In 1984, started exporting auto parts, track band and rubber mining liners to United State, Canada and other countries.In1993, exporting the crawler of construction machine , vibration pad and expansion joint enter the Japanese market. In 1996, was approved as the qualified supplier for those car maker in Taiwan like Toyota, Nissan, and Honda. In 2003, succeeded became the only domestic supplier of rail pads for Taiwan High Speed Rail. In 2008, provided the rail pad for Japanese Northeast Shinkansen.
